The Llangollen line is known for its outstanding scenery at any time of year. Rarely photographed is the area round the Dee Bridge which is some distance from a road.

The beautifully restored Wickham unit has just left Llangollen Goods Junction and is on its way towards Pentrefelin where it will sweep left and cross the River Dee before climbing towards Berwyn.

Outstationed at the Midland Railway-Butterley is our Class 141 unit which is painted in West Yorkshire Metro colours. The destination is interesting as the branch to Clayton West was closed in 1984, just before the class 141 entered service.
